IPL –BOON OR BAN TO INDIA

Indian Premier League(IPL) is the Talk of the Town these days. Indian Subcontinent is Divided into Eight major Zones and Players from India and all over the world adorn the throne.BCCI launched IPL on the lines of Football’s English premier League and the National BasketBall league(NBA) of US.This 20-20 Cricket Format IPL works on franchise-system based on American Style of Hiring Players.The Auction Of team Started With $400 Million and ended in $723.59 Million. An un imaginable Business in a Developing Country like India indeed!!!
The basic idea of IPL is to Bring in some Good Cricket to Audience and to Spot out the Young Bloods in the Country to limelight. But is IPL met it’s Target Without causing any Negative Impact to India. I feel No !! although the IPL cricket a Grand Success and I myself crazy on seeing IPL matches..
In General any kind of Business if flourishes shouldn’t hinder the growth of other business so that it will not affect the National Economy. But IPL is controversial to this statement.
The Negative Impact of IPL are,
1. The Test Match format of Cricket which is played for 5 days is the Correct and Proper Way of Shaping and Forming up the Cricketer but this IPL of 20-20 is purely a Batsman game which is of Hit or Miss Ideology which will not evaluate a cricketer. So the basic idea of IPL went wrong at this point. So 20-20 = 0 , that’s what the Result we obtain to Promote Young Talented Cricketer.
2. On the other hand wastage of 3 hrs of time is always better than 5 days of time, Each of the 3 hrs of time for 59 matches Looks like a Giant making up the working community and Students life to Misery, degrading their Performance,What not emptying their pocket money to buy Tickets,T-Shirts,DVDs,etc.. . Falling on the Summer vacation thereby sparing the Education of School Children.
3.The Choice of Cheerleaders is sure to prove the IPL mind of Business. People even dare to miss the Players or even some good moments on Ground just to Watch their Cheerleaders in their Dream Dress. The television Channel Fails to cover the Ball which Cleared the boundary but correctly covers the Cheerleader’s.
4. Indian Cinema which Dreams about Oscars Ever since in its life has brought to Halt for 59 days. Some Huge banners even just can’t take Risk in releasing their movie Just For IPL. Gautam Dutta, CEO, PVR Cinemedia, says “A match of three hours easily takes the slot of one movie. In spite of the fact that exam season has ended, most movies have not fared well at the halls”.
Finally the Husband Forgets his Wife, Guys Forget their Girl Friends,Students forget Their Education,School Students Forgets their Summer camp,Offices Misses Skill Ful Performing Employee,Businees People relax From their Businees on sofa ,Foreign Players Outperform than Indians, Indians Fight and Slap among themselves and Looses their face of in world and Many more Losses to account. Ultimately Match Fixers alone on other side earn a large sum of money by gambling. So is this IPL that Necessary to our country Now ??? Think ………………

Evolution Of Ambition

Always in Everyone’s Life our Environment or Surroundings play a major role. No one cant go against the environment.”When you are in rome Be a Roman” is a popular saying and very apt to the current day scenario.In this World every time when Evolution happens only Fittest has survived. This again serves as an evidence that one adopting to the changing situation can survive.
But on the other side what do the term Ambition refers to?? It is the Motivation especially to improve a situation and acquire power. Ambition is the driving force in life, despite no facility, no help and no aid to make great achievements possible in the world.If that is the case can the Ambition be oscillating now and then?? I would question you the readers .How many of us have become as what we intend to become??
Now I would put forth the concept of Evolution mapped with Ambition. Darwin’s theory of Evolution in a nutshell says “ random genetic mutations occur within an organism's genetic code, the beneficial mutations are preserved because they aid survival -- a process known as "natural selection." These beneficial mutations are passed on to the next generation. Over time, beneficial mutations accumulate and the result is an entirely different organism (not just a variation of the original, but an entirely different creature).
I correlate this particular definition of Evolution of species with ambition. I would give my life as small Example to this.When I am Born there is no ambition to drive me but my parents turn is just began.”Lemme put My son as an IAS officer,or IPS officer,or a Professor” To them this Particular Ambition has Evolved because of their acquaintance with Society.Directly or indirectly that particular profession would have caused an impact in them or else it would have been their unfulfilled dream.Any how as a child I was forced to carry a profession on my shoulder even when I haven’t open my eyes.
Days Went, as a playful child when I see a cricket match I wish to be a cricketer, see a Pilot in TV , my heart beats for a Pilot, when my class Teacher asks for me what I wants to be?? I say IAS officer just to show off that I am a Bright student with some high Ambition in my life. At this Point of Time do u think any beneficial mutation has happened among the profession I thought. The Answer is No. Reason is it’s ambition because of My society and my environment & not made for me.
When I come to My Higher Secondary finally my brain is forced to choose my carrier.This time I m not a play ful Kid rather I am bound by lots of responsibilities.As my parents wished can I work for becoming an IAS ?? will the couple of Prizes won in Quiz competition in my school and college days take me to my destination?? Nope.If I miss then I cant even lead a normal life . so what else I can choose ?? Can I opt for Medicine?? But what if if I don’t get a seat in government college ?? My parents cant afford a self financing Fees !! Now again thinking Should I work on my any of Child hood Ambition or else prepare myself to sustain in this environment. So a Minimum guaranteed profession is required to help myself and my family . So what could I be than ?? To become an Engineer !!!
Finally I got some thing which I havent even thought in dreams.i was bit relaxed on my sofa thinking that I have chosen my carrier. My relaxation has lasted for a while, One best friend of me came Running and asked me “ the man in the counselling will ask you which college u need and what course u need ?? CS/IT/EC/EEE ??” so what would you choose??? oops !! what’s all these non sense things. I havent seen or heard of any of these terms before??
Again I go in search of my society to rescue me. Kumar of next street is working in Bangalore, soon he is going to be in US just becos he studied so and so course in so and so college similarly news started coming about ashok,arul,santhi and many more in my area….. I have Moulded my Mind to become like Kumar whom I knew just a week.What a surprise in that instant he has become my role model and having decided my future entered counselling with lots of pride and confidence. There the Gentleman who was sitting to change my fate shocked me by saying u don’t have CS/IT/EC/EEE seats in any of the good college in which u have asked . Choose a self Financing course to end up with your Family in starvation and in big debt?? Or u interested in choosing Mech/chemical/textile/polymer from the same college???
Oops!! These courses were not in my checklist??? . I have taken one of my fren who is just senior to me helped me in choosing Mechanical Engineering from a reputed college.Every Thing happening in an instant not as planned or aimed by me. I was in sigh of relief Since My carrier Building course was chosen .Even now my dreams which are prone to take different avatars again started to play its role.Magazines,NewsPapers,Media spoke about those people who Rules the world by being Big Entrepreneur , industrialist ,etc.. So I planned to be one Such personality and conquer the World. Finally Got placed in Mechanical Firm and When I went to Work, I was put into some thing For Which I need not have studied. Oh all these days I was waiting for this??? Always a Bird in the bush is better than one in the hand.
When many of my friends were software Engineers which has become the fashion during that age, I was totally in a different world .My Mind was deeeply attracted towards the stylish life(optical illusion) . Why don’t I switch to a Software Engineer where I can earn more money for the same Effort I put in here ?? By serious try and effort I have got into some thing which I failed to get in my Counselling during my carrier Selection. So Finally the beneficial mutations responsible for this Evloution in my Ambition is Nothing other than “MONEY”.
Now I do lots of coding,compiling, debugging as a part of my job .Just thinking of when soft ware Engineer friends of me in those days sent me some junk Forward mail in which they have Embossed these Words I was wondering at that time what these stylish words in this stylish mail from this stylish person means ?? Finally today When My newly written code has core Dumped for no reason and my debugging is in progress this afternoon I write in this Blog “Those stylish words written by stylish friends from the stylish industry means Bull Shits”. Today I have completed 2 complete years of experience in IT industry.
Except very Few who achieve what they wish inspite of great struggle.My salutation to all of them who has achieved their Ambition as they liked. So to Conclude with, Ambition these days are mostly short term ambitions, Society Driven Ambitions, Family bound Ambitions and practically Feasible Ambitions. If any thing Beyond this are prone to undergo Evolutionary Changes and that’s why I have titled this Blog as Evolution of Ambition.
So We need to adjust to the situation and move ahead in our life. Instead of planning for a Long Time Ambition one could plan some short Term Goal and achieve that first and from that level can move ahead. Please Share ur Views on this Topic.
